I emailed Todd and he got me hooked up . I should have my new pipe by end of March. He could make it sooner but I need a little time to save some pennies first.
Same here. I'm tired of playing with estates. bluepipe said something to me in our correspondence during a recent trade, "I don't collect pipes, I smoke pipes". I've been thinking about that, what jpberg said in this thread, and the fact that Sasq and other custom makers are on this forum. I don't give a snit about a Dunhill, or Castello, or any other big names. I just want a pipe that I look at and appeals to me. Well, that and smokes like a dream. I may sell off about 40 or so of these estates and get serious about having a 7 day set made over the next few years. I'll look at it as a pipe smoking retirement plan.
I think this is where I'm at. Though I like my Parker, Stanwell, and Brebbia I just don't get the same satisfaction as I do from my Sas pipe.
