Hi All, Any one smoked a BC pipe? I'm considering purchasing one today ( http://cigars.gauntleys.com/product4030-butz-choquin-nocturne-1601 ) but the fact that my local tobacconist sells them puts me of a tad. Any suggestions as to quality as I really want it... or maybe ( http://cigars.gauntleys.com/product4057-savinelli-tiger-roma-207 ) instead...!! What do we think? x
I'd say either one would be good. I have a few Butz, and I like them all, but they are older estate pipes that I cleaned up. I've read other folks had some they did not like but thats not been my experience. I think the Butz pipes have a "higher class" quality than the middle price pipes from other pipe makers. The one you listed looks like a painted finish, I personally would not go for that. Good luck, and I'll bet you can't have just one! A lot of stock that's for sure! Although sometimes they have a small shop front and the internet side is run separately.
