My name is Patrick, although I'll answer to Pat. I currently reside just south of Lake Erie in Pennsylvania. I've been lurking around this and other sites for some time, and feel it's time for me to pop my head up and say hello. Although I am not new to the pipe it is been some time since I've smoked one. I think, like a lot of people who try when they're young, I made the common mistake of smoking to fast and roasted my tongue. That was 30 years ago, so the memory has faded and I'm back for another round. I enjoy cigars. From my browsing in the forums it appears that many of you do also. In fact I was led to this site by one of the members who also participates on cigar aficionado (Captain Eight here, Anchovie2 there). So thanks to the good Captain I am now here expanding my knowledge. My wife and I have a small farm out in the sticks where we enjoy birdwatching, horseback riding, and our cats. Until I can get a proper smoking avatar, I'll continue by displaying one of our boys. I guess that's enough for now, look forward to participating with all of you. Until then... Pat
