This thread is reaching a point I find myself checking in to see what, who posted what next----God luv yah Sas.
Crap! I missed Sas's birthday! Well, you'll be happy to know that, for some reason, the "professor" pipe you made for me spoke to me yesterday and told me to partake of its wonderfullness (which I did). I thought it was because yesterday was intl pipe smoking day. Turns out it knows the birthday of the one who gave it birth. Now, if that's not some kind of sign from the pipe making gods that Sas was meant to be a pipe maker (his birthday and IPSD fall on the same day??) then I don't know what it means. Perhaps the end is nigh. I will celebrate (and/or prepare) by lighting a bowl in honor of him who they call "The Big Footed One". I suggest everyone else follow suit (or risk perishing in the afterlife/afterlight). Happy Belated, birthday!
So, what is the life expectancy of a Sasquatch? Are years measured in Canada the same as the US? OBD.
Fantastic! Happy birthday! By the way, is the pipe you're holding one of your own? I would assume it is, but I'm not totally sure. And on that note, being a pipe maker yourself, do you ever smoke pipes made by others, or do you stick to your own?
I have a few of my own, mostly factory rejects of some sort - misdrilled stuff or bad briar. The pictured pipe is a Mastro de Paja I got a good deal on.
Randall, they have metric years up there. 1 year (US) = .6215 years centigrade. I thought everybody knew that.
