So, I just got back from training in Boston and there was a package waiting for me. What a great looking pipe - Thank you Archer!! Now I need to decide what to smoke in it. So, I figured, since it was a PSF thread that started this gift, why not take a vote on what to smoke in it. A simple vote of Va, Va/Per, English, Burley and Aro. I figured specific blends wouldn't work.. way too many out there. Thanks again to Archer for sending me this beauty!!!!
If it were mine - Lane 1-Q no doubt That is one beautiful pipe, the grain really pops, Archer's skill is much greater than he thinks/feels it is! P.S. don't tell him tho he might get the big-head and not visit with us poor folks.
Yes I agree, the pic does his work no justice either. Oh - I know.. I won't be braggin' about this one to anybody. Once Archer hits the main stream -- well he won't be the PSF Robin Hood anymore... get it.. robin hood-archer ... hehehe - 'sometimes I just crack myself up...

A poker like that, with such a stunning grain pattern screams Va/Burley to me, so I voted on Va. Of course, 1-Q would seem at home in it too. It's a beautiful straight forward shape, I would match a straight forward tobacco to suit.

LOL!! So far it's Va/Per with Virginia and English running a close second... I'll leave the vote open for a little while longer just to see what happens.
