Online cellar

Just had some fun populating my
new cellar online. I was guessing I
had about 10 lbs. worth of toby, and
I came pretty close! Sad to say, I have
less tins than I thought. There are a
few dregs that I didn't include (whatever
I have that's 3 bowls worth or less). Plus,
I didn't see Bulwark ANYWHERE!!
So, I didn't add that. Anyway, stats are:
11lbs. 4 oz. with a total of 97 tins, and
33 blends represented. This grand total
will last me 3 years, 5 months. Meh, not
    bad, I suppose.
Saving up for a trip in June, so TAD has
    been put on hold.

Looks as you have a nice cellar started... Snake.. I think everyone should have a 5 year supply in the cellar..I just received a letter from Chiquita.. stating banana crops in Central America were failing because of La Nania...price increase...tobacco could easily do the same thing in the next few years.....you know I'm kidding about your cellar.... that's an excellent cellar.

I just started filling mine out. Very cool. I noticed there are a lot of tins that are missing from the drop-down list.

I forgot all about my online cellar. I need to populat it - or actually de-populate it.
When I first started I kept up with it but, it soon faded out.
It is a good tool to judge tobacco use..

I had one online here once. No one used it so I took it down.

Do you have something like a "mini-max" system (minimun-maximum) to manage your inventory?

We used to have a spreadsheet someone made for cellering. If anyone has a copy get with me and I will put it up so everyone can download it.

I would have to take stuff out of the cardboard boxes to count it. Too much work, I guess I'll keep myself in suspense.

And DP, after I'd been smoking 11 years, I had maybe a pound of stuff, so good for you, man.

I've slowed down quite a bit these
last two months. I'm sure if I wasn't
taking an expensive holiday soon, I'd
have at least a third more than I do
right now. I'm sure July will see the
    influx of TAD. :th1:

I have a (detailed!) spreadsheet of all the tobaccos I have smoked and my ratings. The 2 spreadsheets I have regretted not doing are; a cellar and a trade spreadsheet.
    Never say never. ;)

I smoke a pound or more / month. I'm 55 now and do plan on smoking till I die! So 500# ought to cover me with a bit of wiggle room for tradin' & giftin'!

Why 5 year? If things are bad at 5, you know they'll be worse in 10! Set yourself up to smoke! Not pay taxes or ridiculous taxes to smoke!

Cellar wide, deep, and YESTERDAY! Or NOW if you hadn't already!:)

    Will do, mate. Will do.

I just added up my cellar, and like dp, have enough for about 3 1/2 years. I agree that keeping a 5-year supply on hand sounds like a reasonable goal.
