    Haha, David I lived in Ewing for 20 years, bought much fron those markets. As far as stems, I like to rub them down with bees wax (I got from a vendor at Golden Nugget) and rub to a shiny finish. I thinkI would have reamed out the big chunks out of the bowls first!
