    !

Why is it that the pipes I fall in love with always cost an arm and a leg?

Oooh that is nice, how much? Wouldn't a straight stem churchwarden like that dump ashes everywhere? I've only ever had bent stem wardens.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me a little dizzy in the head with feeling of happiness when he slides that stem in his hands.

    What a beauty. :beyes:

Man, that is one classy pipe. I've never tried a pipe with a painted finish, I wonder how they compare to natural? I've heard they take more time to dry/hold moisture. Perhaps a tale without merrit?

Nice pipe! I know how it is Darby, I have champagne tastes and a beer budget if I'm lucky.

I've got a couple of Stanwells. The fit & finish on them are the best of all my factory made pipes. That particular model is beautiful so I'm sure it will stay in production for at least a few years and you will have time to get one.

Stanwell is probably my favorite large manufacturer, I love their pipes! I lusted after the HCA's for about five years before I ever got my first, a no. 2, and I loved it so much that I ordered my second, a no. 1, less than a month later. They couldn't smoke better! I have never seen the black finish before, and it does make for a gorgeous pipe!

Keep an eye on e-bay, they do come up from time to time, maybe the stars will line up in your favor and you can snag one for cheap!

The S on that pipe must stand for sexy, 'cause that is one gorgeous pipe! I could watch that video all day long!

I like that cutty shape a lot. I don't have much use for the churchwarden stem, but I love the bowl shape. I wish the regular stem was a shade longer.

I had a HCA back in the day, one of these. Damn good pipe, not sure what happened to it! :msty:
